Home Cup: In my previous apartment, I went through several iterations of my Home Cup. A distinct from my water bottle, which lives in my backpack and goes places with me, the Home Cup is a lidded tumbler with a straw that I drink out of at home to stay hydrated. The straw makes it easy and fun to drink, and the lid isn’t airtight, but does prevent giant messes. I have a Home Cup I ADORE (glass, purple silicone sleeve) sitting in a storage unit in the Bronx that I intend to return to at the end of this year, so I thought it didn’t make sense to buy one just for Berlin. But I was dehydrated all the time at home! I caved and bought a purple plastic tumbler. I am so much happier and more hydrated.
